This series was amazing. There were a lot of creative ideas in it, the showrunners and actors and set designers showed *tremendous* range and fluency in genre-making. They took time to set up the finale. The sacrifices she has to made are really poignant. That last line, "we'll say hello again," was really well done. For me the films didn't really sell the romance very well, but this TV series did a much better job. I hope Harkness, Agent Woo, and Monica Rambeau all make returns. Really fantastic performances all around, especially Kathryn Hahn. Finally, the whole "it is your destiny to destroy the world" prophecy really reminds me of Hellboy, and her power level reminds me a bit of Dark Phoenix. The finale offered a nice bit of mythology building for a series that was mostly self-contained and concentrated on the relationship of Wanda and Vision.

Personally I got taken out of what was an enjoyable and refreshing show by the following: 1) Multiple characters mentioning details they weren't privy to at all, such as Darcy and Monica talking about specific things in the final battle of Endgame that isn't public knowledge (which I felt was just the writers/producers wanting to emphasize how many "strong women" they have). 2) How Monica obtained her powers and how quickly she managed to start using them. 3) Agatha telling the audience that the Scarlet Witch is going to become more powerful than the Sorcerer Supreme, because not only is that not true in the comics, I felt like the line itself was coming from the same place as my 1) point, in that the writers just wanted to remind everyone how many "strong women" they have in the MCU. You don't normalize something by constantly bringing it up, that actually has the opposite result. Case and point: Wanda dropping in on Thanos during the gauntlet run didn't feel out of place because numerous characters were already doing that and watching her nearly kill a stoneless-Thanos was awesome, but then not long after that scene all the female characters just so happened to all group up in the same spot. If they had simply continued to have random heroes jump in during the rest of the gauntlet run, it would've made the female heroes more normal because the writing wouldn't have acted like there was anything abnormal about female heroes existing, but by making a big deal out of an all-female group up it tells the audience that it's abnormal (male heroes wouldn't need an all-male group scene up in order to prove anything and that's because male heroes aren't written like they're a rarity, so that's precisely how female heroes should be written, and that would normalize them). It's this special method of writing female characters that caused Captain Marvel to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen: in writing her with no flaws or weaknesses, because they're so focused on writing "strong women", it's self-defeating as the character becomes unrelatable. It's through flaws and mistakes that allows human beings to connect to characters because humans are flawed and make mistakes all the time. And because there was no challenge or hardship for the character to overcome throughout the movie, other characters had to tell the audience why Danvers is great (which is no different than Agatha telling the audience how powerful Wanda is).

We need the prequel series “Agatha All Along” showing what Agatha was up to at various points in MCU history, so you could have episodes involving the Eternals, the vampires from Blade, The Ancient One, Peggy Carter and Howard Stark. The last episode has the mid credits scene of her arriving at the Hex. Just needs a catchy theme song reworked for each historical period, and a number of very unfortunate small dogs.

But I think Wanda was always destined to be the Scarlet Witch, and Hydra was like her orgin. She was born, just like every other mutant, but she had a destiny to be who she is.

Really enjoyed the Wanda miniseries. Really looking forward to the new Marvel movies, etc., that are coming up. The timing is perfect, since we're all living in isolation right now.
